The first weekend of college baseball season was filled with excitement.

While some position player prospects were productive to begin the spring, even more pitchers with premium arms rose to the occasion.

It's time to empty out our prospect notebook in our new weekly feature, which this week, features notes on 38 different prospects.

Brandon Finnegan, LHP, So. Texas Christian: The outstanding left-handed pitcher showed elite stuff against Ole Miss last weekend, sitting 92-95 with his fastball, while he also touched some 97's at times. Though Finnegan showed grit and a hard fastball last season, he certainly has dialed things up a notch this spring.

Bobby Wahl, RHP, Jr., Mississippi: Wahl was his typical self in his start against TCU last weekend. He consistently sat 90-94 with his fastball, and touched several 95s in the contest. Wahl also had his off speed stuff working in the game.
