Kendall Rogers Joins Perfect Game

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Perfect Game USA Baseball, the nation’s largest and most comprehensive scouting service, is pleased to announce the addition of long-time college baseball writer Kendall Rogers to its staff to spearhead college baseball coverage.

PG’s addition of Rogers further revolutionizes an industry that Perfect Game has been on the forefront of since 1993.

“Kendall Rogers has a well earned reputation for being one of the top college baseball writers in America,” Perfect Game President Jerry Ford said. “Kendall will enable Perfect Game to become a leader in covering the increasing popularity of college baseball. We are all big fans of college baseball, so this should be exciting.”

Rogers brings an extensive resume and a household college baseball name to the company. Rogers spent the last four years as the college baseball editor for Yahoo! Sports and Rivals.com. Before that, he spent three seasons as the college baseball editor for just Rivals.com. Rogers got his start in college baseball in 2000 when he covered the sport on a regional basis.

Kendall is a Texas native who resides in Cedar Park, Texas, a suburb of Austin. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

Rogers will bring new elements to Perfect Game USA. In addition to his daily features, columns and analysis, he also will provide premium content and message board services for fans wanting to get the instant inside scoop on college baseball, college players in the MLB draft and recruiting.

His addition to the company is a significant step forward in helping Perfect Game USA become the nation’s leading amateur baseball content provider, in addition to being the premier source for showcasing high-school talent for the draft.
