Top Prospect List

2008's

Pitchers

RHP B.J. Hermsen, ‘08 (West Delaware, IA): Still in basketball and coming off football injury (collarbone), threw loose and easy.

RHP-SS Jake Odorizzi, ’08 (Highland, IL): Highly athletic, very life fastball to 93 mph, big breaking slider, plus command potential.

RHP Kyle Stroup, 08 (Ingleside, IL): Big strong body, sits at 92 mph, power pitcher’s profile, surprisingly good feel for curveball/change/split.

RHP Chase Hentges, ‘08 (Shakopee, MN): 90-92 mph fastball, very projectable 6-5, 190 lb build, limited pitching experience, very high ceiling.

RHP Phil Schrieber, ’08 (Kaukauna, WI): FB steady at 90 mph, good balanced delivery, upper 70’s curveball is potential plus pitch.
