Aflac Players in NCAA Championship Game

 LSU defeated Texas 2 games to 1 to win the NCAA Division I National Championship.

 
A total of 11 former Aflac All Americans played in this year’s World Series.  Six of those players played key roles for the top two teams, Texas and LSU.

 
The CWS All-Tournament team was announced along with the tournament MVP.

Former Aflac All Americans in bold.

First Base: Dustin Ackley, North Carolina
Second Base: D.J. LeMahieu, LSU
Third Base: Kyle Seager, North Carolina
Shortstop: Tyler Cannon, Virginia

Outfield: Jared Mitchell, LSU
Outfield: Ryan Schimpf, LSU
