13 more Aflac 1^st Round Picks in 2009

First of a continuous series covering The Aflac All-American Classic.

Once again there were several players drafted that played at the 6^th annual Aflac All American Game at Dodger Stadium last year. In fact, 13 Aflac All Americans were selected in the 1^st round this year.

The total Aflac First Round picks now stands at 65 in the 6 years Aflac has named All American East and West Teams. 21 other Aflac players were drafted in the 2^nd round. 115 Aflac All Americans have been drafted in the top 5 rounds. 228 players have been selected Aflac All Americans so that means, to date, that nearly one out of every 3 Aflac All Americans has become a first round pick. More than half of the Aflac All Americans were drafted in the top 5 rounds.
