A big and physically mature righthander, Allan has two potential plus present pitches in his fastball and breaking ball and outstanding present command to go with it. The Florida commit's fastball checks in usually in the 91-94 mph range but his best pitch is a 78-81 mph breaking ball that some call a slider and some call a curveball, as it combines plenty of velocity and side-to-side break with big downward angle.
