One of the most projectable pitchers in the Class of 2014, the 6-foot-4, 195-pound Kopech has a lean and angular build with broad shoulders and plenty of room for added strength as he continues to mature. He currently throws in the mid- to low-90s and uses his size well throwing on a downhill plane. He commands his fastball very well with the ability to catch both corners at the knees, and also mixes in a promising mid- to upper-70s curveball.
