The son of long-time Houston Astros great Craig Biggio, Cavan is built a little differently than his father, and projects as a different type of player and overall hitter. With a level, balanced left-handed swing, Biggio has a keen batting eye and the ability to drive the ball to all parts of the park. He hit an impressive three-run home run at the 2012 Perfect Game National Showcase, and repeatedly shows the ability to hit high-level pitching. Defensively he probably fits best at second base, like his father, third base or possibly a corner outfield spot.
