Navaretto is a Puerto Rican native now living in Florida who has exploded onto the prospect scene in much the way Cubs top prospect and former Perfect Game All-American Javier Baez did two years ago. Also like Baez, Navarreto plays for Arlington Country Day High School and the East Cobb Braves. He is an extremely athletic catcher with above average size and some of the quickest defensive actions in the class. He also swings a powerful right handed bat.
