2004 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Molotsky is a 2005 RHP/1B from Lafayette Hill, PA with a tall 6'4"/200 pound frame. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long, loose arm that works. His 84 mph fastball showed very good tailing action. He throws a 72 mph curveball that has a hard 10-4 break on it. He has a good change-up that shows some sink action at times. He has a big frame and he will definitely pick up velocity as he matures and uses his lower half more. He is a smart pitcher and he hits his spots well with good command. Needs to be seen. Shows athletic ability and ran a 7.2. David is an excellent student.
