2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Quinn Pippin is a 2008 3B/SS/1B that attends McLean HS and resides in McLean, VA with a 6'1", 170 lb. frame. Quinn has a lean athletic build and showed a solid all-around set of tools at the showcase. At the plate Quinn has an easy left-handed swing. He is able to generate good bat speed and sprays the ball all over the field. With some added strength Quinn should have no problem carrying his game over to the next level. In the field Quinn shows smooth actions to the ball with an average arm. Right now third base looks like his best position though he could possibly move to shortstop at some point. Quinn is a solid all-around player that will attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
