Mac West is a 2011 OF/P with a 6'3'', 170 lb. frame from Leesburg, VA who attends Notre Dame Academy. Long athletic build, has strength potential. Good fundamental swing, smooth extension out front, some lift for future power, developing bat speed, handles bat head well for young power type. Didn't participate in outfield/defensive drills.

Mac West is a 2011 IF/RHP that resides in McLean, VA with a 6'0", 148 lb. frame. Mac was one of the youngest players at the event and has a lean build with plenty of time to fill out. At the plate Mac shows easy lift in his swing with good pop. His swing will get a little long at times and he could work on keeping his hands inside the ball more. As Mac gets older he shows a nice set of raw hitting tools. At this point Mac looks most comfortable at second base. He has clean actions now that should continue to develop in the coming years. As he gets stronger and faster he could probably make the move to third base. Mac looked his best on the mound. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short compact arm action. His arm action is clean and live and produces nice run and sink on his fastball. Mac could work on mixing up his speeds more as he does not throw any off-speed pitches. Mac is a solid young player that could develop into a solid college prospect with time.
