2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Chris Lenivy is a 2007 3B/OF/RHP that attends Tunkhannock Area HS and resides in Tunkhannock, PA with a 6'2", 170 lb. frame. Chris has a lean athletic build and had some of the top workout numbers at the event. At the plate Chris showed good athletic ability with very quick wrists. Right now Chris is too jumpy in the box and really needs to calm down his approach. When he is able to get his weight on his back side he should be able to drive the ball much more consistently. In the outfield Chris showed good speed (7.05) and raw arm strength. (85) Chris is quick to the ball and had very good carry on his throws. In the infield Chris didn't look nearly as comfortable and it is obvious his true position is in the outfield. Chris is a good all-around athlete that will attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
