2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Zach Krumpfer is a 2007 3B/RHP that attends Mt. Olive HS and resides in Flanders, NJ with a 6'0", 160 lb. frame. Zack has a lean athletic build with room to fill out. At the plate Zack has quick wrists with a level swing plane. As he fills into his frame he should become a solid line-drive hitter. In the field Zack has average actions with an accurate arm that would best project at second base. On the mound Zack throws from a low 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. Zack is a low effort pitcher that has some nice run on his fastball. At this point Zack looks like a player that should attract the attention of many smaller colleges.
