2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Brent Quenn is a 2007 RHP/OF that attends Stonewall Jackson HS and resides in Manassas, VA with a 6'2", 180 lb. frame. Brent has a tall athletic build with good all-around tools. On the mound Brent throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short compact arm action. His arm action is very clean and he has outstanding mechanics. There is a lot of life in Brent's arm but he needs to work on developing his off-speed pitches. His polish in his mechanics and command are very noticable and Brent will just need to pick up a little velocity. At the plate Brent is able to go to all fields with a short abbreviated swing and a no-stride approach. Defensively Brent looked very solid in the outfield. He has an accurate arm with clean actions and projects well in right field. In the infield Brent also showed his accurate arm off, but overall looks better in the outfield. Brent is a player that will attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
