Judd Huffaker is a 2008 C/2B with a 5'10'', 160 lb. frame from Austin, TX, who attends Austin High School. Huffaker has a lean and medium frame with projection. Defensively he has solid footwork behind the plate, and moves well blocking balls in the dirt. Huffaker threw 65 mph down to second base with a best pop time of 2.25. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from an open and upright stance. Huffaker uses a leg lift trigger and a short line drive swing plane with solid bat speed through the hitting zone. He is a contact hitter who uses the whole field, and shows good patience and a good knowledge of the strike zone. Huffaker plays hard, and competes. He is also an excellent student.
