Bostin is a slender 6-0, 155 lb middle infielder from Florida with a young looking body. He ran the 60 in 7.44 on the slow track and threw 77 mph across the infield in workouts. Bostin’s hands work well in the field and he showed good range and balance. He will need to work on quickening his release on his throws as the game gets faster. Bostin hits from a pro style approach with high hands and a late stride and little lower half involvement. He has good hitting fundamentals but isn’t strong enough right now to generate plus bat speed and get the bat head into the hitting zone quickly. Bostin did show some bat head skills but is mostly a right field contact hitter at this point until he can get stronger. He could really develop at the next level.
