2004 Sunshine East Showcase
Christopher Nessel is a 2005 middle infielder from Elk Grove Village, IL, with a slender 5'10" frame. He hits from a slightly open stance with a leg lift trigger and level line drive type of swing. Nessel isn’t quite strong enough right now to swing the wood bat with authority, but did a good job during the games of making solid contact to the middle of the field. Nessel’s defensive tools are still developing, but he showed good accuracy on his throws from a variety of defensive positions.
