2006 Southeast Underclass Showcase
Daniel Marsh is a 2008 OF with a 6'2'', 175 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA, who attends Centennial HS. Named to the Top Prospect team at the event. Marsh has a tall, lean frame with good projection. He runs well in the sixty (7.03) and on the bases and in the field. Defensively he moves well to the ball with fluid movements showing range as well. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits with a wide base. Marsh is an aggressive hitter who turns on the ball well making consistently solid contact. He has a quick bat and really hit the ball hard during the showcase games. Marsh really impressed us during the games with his approach which was not as aggressive during batting practice. Once on the bases, he shows good instincts and the ability to take the extra base when available. Marsh has good upside, and he is a good student as well.
