Jordie Scheiner is a 2009 3B/P from Wooster School, residing in Redding, Connecticut, with a lean 5'7"/144 pound frame. Jordie hits from a slightly open and crouched stance with a short bat path. He has solid hands and looks to pull the ball at the plate. Scheiner has an accurate arm across the infield at 65 mph with solid carry and solid range defensively. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with minimal effort. His fastball has slight arm side run at 68 mph and an 11-5 curveball at 68 mph. Jordie does a nice job keeping the ball down in the zone. Scheiner is a good student.
