Andy Wilder is a 2009 OF/P with a 6'3'', 200 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Notre Dame Prep. Wilder has strong athletic build and shows good tools on the field. He gets good carry on his throws from the outfield which were as high as 88mph. He also uses his 6.81 speed well in the outfield. He has a good swing at the plate with very good leverage. He has good raw power and shows excellent potential as a hitter. He has good rhythm in his swing and good balance. It will be very interesting to watch the bat continue to develop with the rest of his good tools over the next year. He is also a good student.
