Chris Chiccone is a 2006 first baseman/right handed pitcher from Stockton, California, with an average frame and lean build. Chiccone handles himself well around the bag at 1B, and moves well laterally. He is a strong kid with an average base and upright stance at the plate. Chiccone generates some bat speed, and gets some loft to balls on the inner half. He is a very good looking hitter that still has another year to go. On the mound, he topped out at 78 mph with his fastball, to go along with a 65 mph curveball, and a 72 mph change up. Chris is an outstanding student.
