Joey Frabasile is a 2007 3B/SS with a 6'1'', 180 lb. frame from Hartsdale NY, who attends Fordham Prep. Frabasile has a big frame with a lean athletic build. Defensively, Frabasile has great feet and moves to the ball very well. He has very good footwork and plays through the baseball well. He follows his throws well and he has solid arm strength. At the plate, Frabasile starts with a straight stance and a wide base. He swings with flexed knees and has a quiet approach in the box. He glides to the ball and has a controlled swing. Frabasile keeps his hands inside the baseball and gets extended at contact. He has quick hands and a quick bat. The bat stays in the hitting zone a long time and he has bat speed. Frabasile swings with leverage and has good present power. The ball jumps off his bat. Frabasile will hit at the next level. He is a good student.
