Jeff Oliveira is a 2008 RHP with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame from Whitby ON, who attends Father Leo J Austin SS. He has a lean build with developing strength. Oliveira has a loose arm and a compact arm stroke. He throws from a high release point and has good downward plane to his pitches. His delivery works well for him and he throws without much effort. Oliveira threw a fastball 77-80 mph and did a good job of moving it in and out and pitching with it. His fastball was fairly straight. Oliveira didn't show any secondary pitches, which makes it hard to fully evaluate him as a pitching prospect. He took some at bats and did not show prospect hitting tools as a hitter.
