Travis Jonasson is a 2008 1B/3B from Catholic Memorial HS, residing in Needham, Massachusetts, with a 6'2"/215 pound frame. Travis has a thick frame. He hits from an open stance and closes well. Jonasson has a line drive swing plane and looks to pull the ball. He centers the ball well and has good bat speed. Travis does get long at times and will cast his wing. He has soft hands at first base and solid footwork around the bag. Jonasson has an accurate arm at 72 mph with short arm action. He needs to increase his arm strength. Travis is a good studenr.
