2006 Mid-Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Hunter Kenney is a 2008 1B/OF from Culpeper County HS and resides in Culpeper, VA with a 6'1", 175 lb. frame. Hunter has an athletic build with some room to fill out. At the plate Hunter showed some solid raw hitting tools. He has quick hands but really needs to work on getting his balance better. With some adjustments in his set-up and approach at the plate Hunter shows good potential at the plate. In the field Hunter showed solid first base tools but probably only projects there unless his arm gets a little stronger. Hunter is a kid that could attract attention from many small colleges.
