Mike Mudron is a 2008 LHP/OF/1B with a 6'0'', 185 lb. frame from Riverside, CA, who attends Martin Luther King HS. Mudron has a medium frame that is lean with present strength. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a medium arm circle. Mudron has solid arm action who throws with a down hill plane. He has a well paced and balanced delivery, and he throws across his body. His fastball topped out at 82 mph, while working from 80-82 mph. Mudron also mixes in a 71 mph change with sinking action, and a 1/7 curveball at 74 mph. He has the ability to spin his breaking ball. Mudron struck out 7 in 4 innings of work. Defensively he showed his arm strength from the outfield and he got good distance on his throws. Mudron showed good knowledge of the game by backing up plays defensively.

Mike Mudron is a 2008 LHP/OF with a 5'11'', 170 lb. frame from Riverside CA, who attends King. Mudron has a good body with some present strength. Mudron pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a very good arm action. He has good arm speed with an effortless delivery. Mudron has good mechanics and stays smooth through his delivery. He has a very poised demeanor on the mound and is deceptive with his off-speed stuff. He has good off-speed stuff and throws all 3 pitches for strikes. Mudron stays balanced through his delivery and has a good finish. At the plate, Mudron is a line drive hitter with a short swing path. He has quick hands with bat speed.

Mike Mudron is a 2008 LHP/1B/OF from King HS, residing in Riverside, CA, with a 5'10" 165 lb. frame. He has an average, medium build with minimal projection. Mudron pitches from an over the top slot and his arm does work. He has a need for a more stable, stronger front side to allow him a more consistent release point. Mudrong has a decent cutter/SL that was his best pitch. Frankly he needed to to throw it more. In all he showed himself to be an aggressive pitcher and did pitch with some high effort. His CB had sharp action and near true 12/6 shape. His FB cuts a lot vs. RHH has he was likley overthrowing and not commanding his hand. As a hitter he showed some decent bat speed and a flat swing plane. Mudron was pretty short to the ball and has a chance to hit a little. Some lower half flexion would be nice addition to his swing. Mudron is a young lefty with pretty lively stuff out of his hand. He is a follow tyep of prospect for West Coast college programs.
