Adam Sobiewski is a 2009 outfielder with a 5'11'', 190 lb. frame from Davie, Florida, who attends American Heritage High School. Sobiewski is a young (2009) player with a medium frame and has present strength in his body. Defensively he threw 71 mph from the outfield with solid carry. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a very open stance. Sobiewski dives in on the pitch taking an aggressive stride to the plate. He is a contact hitter currently, and he does show strength in his swing at times when he gets to a good leverage position at the point of contact. Sobiewski has that ability to hit to all fields. His bat is his best tool. Sobiewski is a very good student as well.
