Dominic Benavides is a 2007 MIF/3B with a 5'10'', 175 lb. frame from Novi MI, who attends Northville. Dominic has a lean body with an athletic build. Dominic has good defensive actions and has a solid glove. He has quick transfers which help him turn a good double play. At the plate, Dominic starts from a wide stance with a steady base. He stays balanced through his swing and uses a rock back load to start his swing. Dominic has a short bat path with lift in his swing. He stays inside the baseball well and has the ability to hit the ball to all fields on a consistent basis. Dominic has bat speed and has good patience at the plate. Dominic is a young prospect who will improve with experience.
