Jonathan Craycraft is a 2008 MIF/P with a 5'10'', 155 lb. frame from Lexington KY, who attends Henry Clay. Craycraft has a medium sized frame with a thin lean build. Craycraft's straight line 60 speed (7.01) transfers over to his range defensively on the infield. He has active feet defensively and moves to the ball well. Craycraft has good hands and makes the picks defensively. He throws with a shorter arm action and makes online throws. At the plate, Craycraft starts with a medium width base and starts his swing with a short load. He takes a long hard stride and gets his front foot down in time. Craycraft gets the bat head to the baseball and looks to pull the ball. He makes consistent solid contact and presently is a contact style hitter. He has bat speed and some smoothness to his swing. Craycraft is a good student.

Jonathan Craycraft is a 2008 2B/MIF from Henry Clay HS in Lexington, KY, with a 5'10'', 155 lb. frame. He's a 7.20 runner in the 60 with good speed on the bases. Craycraft threw 76 mph during infield drills with an upright, deliberate release. He still needs some work on his footwork. His best tools and skills are on offense. Craycraft has very good swing fundamentals and a nice aggressive approach to hitting. His bat stays on the plane of the ball for a long time and he makes consistent solid line drive contact to the middle of the field. He did turn on one pitch and pull it hard as well. Craycraft stays inside most pitches and hits the ball hard. His bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. With his good speed and hitting approach, he should be a very good all around offensive player. Follow.
