Sean Tierney is a 2007, 6'4-180 LHP from Moseley, VA who attends Clover Hill HS. He has a tall lanky body that is very good for a pitcher. Tierney was the top left handed pitching prospect here. He has a short loose arm action that is quick and his mechanics and simple and clean. He works quick and stays around the zone. His fastball has good arm side run at 86 mph. His curveball at 72 mph has good 2-8 rotation with depth. Sean swings the bat very well and has good bat control. He is very balanced and has good raw power. He has outstanding potential and is national level player. Mark his name down, you will be hearing a lot more from this 2007 LHP. Pro scouts will want to see him play.
