Casey Powles is a 6'2", 175 lb. right handed pitcher from Virginia Beach, Virginia. On the mound he showed an 85 mph fastball, a 62 mph curveball, and a 69 mph change up. He has nice action on his curveball with some good sink to his fastball. Casey has a nice pitcher's frame with room to add strength in his torso and legs. Casey has a good delivery with normal effort, and showed some knowledge about how to pitch. He has an on line stride with an extended 3/4 arm slot. Casey also plays in the outfield, he showed his arm strength and arm looseness a couple of times during games with Major League quality throws. He's athletic and runs well. He shows good hitting ability too. Casey is a very good student.
