Max Anderson is a 2020 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard West. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 7.10 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with clean, deliberate footwork while traveling to and surrounding the baseball. Funnels the baseball with clean glove actions and flashed good range to each side. Released from a low three-quarters creating accurate carry across the infield topping at 82 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Creates slight coil with hands at load and works to contact on a simple path. Line drive plane through extension and employed a mid field approach. Flashed good feel for the barrel with solid jump when on time and squared. Very good student as well.
