Matt Vinagro is a 2006, MIF, 5'6-145 from Fredericksburg, VA. Vinagro took a solid bp session and then came alive in the games with some nice line drives up the middle. A RH hitter with very good bat speed and he likes to attack the ball. He is short and quick to the ball with good hand strength and stays behind the ball very well. Vinagro has some good hitting tools. He ran a 7.49 sixty and a 4.92 home to first time. In the field he has good footwork and playes the ball well. Matt shows excellent glove position and clean transfers. He has solid tools and above average arm strength. He is a scrapper who wants to play and hustles on every play..He gets on and off the field with a jump in his step. Vinagro would be a good pick up for many colleges.
