Bryce Darling is a 2007 MIF from Basha HS, residing in Gilbert, AZ, with a 5'11" 185 lb. frame. He has an average build with some strength. A switch-hitter, Darling showed some ability from both sides. From the left side he had a slashing type line-drive hitting approach and showed the ability to spray the ball a bit around the yard. He showed good balance and his hands and wrists are aggressive in his swing. From the right side he got his front foot down early and was aggressive to the pull side. Just like from the left side, Darling's hands are active in his swing. On defense he showed good hands and went to the ball well. He has some body control and sets up to the ball pretty well. Darling is a good fielder with some ability to switch hit. He is still developing on the offensive side. Darling is a small college prospect.
