Robert Amaro is a 2009 1B/3B with a 6'3'', 210 lb. frame from Bensalem, PA who attends William Penn Charter. Robert has big strong build and shows good hands and arm strength across the diamond. He has a tall stance with very good strength in his swing. He creates bat speed, hits hard line drives and the ball comes off his bat in a hurry. He gets good extension in his swing and projects large as a power hitter. He is also a very good student.

Robert Amaro is a 2009 3B/1B/C from Penn Charter School in Bensalem, PA, with a 6'2'', 185 lb. frame. He looks bigger than his listed size and is very strong for his age. Amaro is related to the Ruben Amaro family, which means his baseball bloodlines go way, way back. Amaro is a corner infielder who threw 70 mph during infield drills and ran the 60 in 7.72. He likely projects to first base in the future defensively. Once Amaro gets the bat moving, he shows very good bat speed for his age and big time power potential. He showed the ability to drive the ball with wood and should only get better as he gets stronger and more physically mature. Amaro is an excellent student who has his sights set on some elite level academic institutions.
