Juan Rodriguez is a 2006 INF from Carvin HS, residing in Orlando, FL, with a 5'9", 158 lb. frame. He has a compact and athletic type body. His defensive actions are efficient, with a good first step, and good hands. Rodriguez is an accurate thrower with some arm strength, though a lack of carry will push him to second base. He has some bat speed and a hand path that can be short to the ball, giving him a chance to be a solid contact type hitter. He has good balance and understands how to hit where he is pitched. Rodriguez has a solid fundamentals and as he gains strength his skills will enhance.
