Manny Fernandez is a 2008 RHP with a 6'1'', 210 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Florida Christian. Manny used his strong lower half and solid pitcher build to run his fastball up to 88mph. He was long in back and used a 3/4 arm angle. His arm angle and delivery were similar to the Chicago Cubs Carlos Zambrano. Manny showed some arm speed and attacked hitters with his fastball. His fastball had some late life and arm side run. He was willing to throw inside and threw strikes all day. His changeup showed potential, but he rarely threw it. His slider also had some promise but he stuck to his fastball most of the time during this outing. Manny has all kinds of potential on the mound and should continue to get better over the next year. He excels on the mound and in the classroom.

Manny Fernandez is a 2008 RHP with a 6'1'', 195 lb. frame from Homestead, Florida, who attends Florida Christian High School. Manny has a well-developed build and plays for one of the top high school programs in the country. He will throw with a long loose arm action that has nice run and good life occasionally. Manny has nice command and will primarily challenge hitters with his fastball. Manny really needs to work on cleaning up his delivery. He is very jerky and unorthodox and this will take away from his pitchability in the long run. Manny is a solid student that should attract the attention of some mid-level college programs.

Manny Fernandez is a 2008 RHP with a 6'1'', 195 lb. frame from Homestead FL, who attends Florida Christian. Fernandez has a medium sized frame with a strong core. Fernandez pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. He maintains good balance through his delivery and pitches with low effort. Fernandez uses upright tall and fall mechanics and has some wrap in back. He uses a two piece arm action and repeats his delivery well. Fernandez has good command of his fastball and it gets some sink on it. He pitches on a downward plane and gets good extension. Fernandez also throws an 11/5 curveball which is more of a slurve. It has some looseness in the spin which hurts it's sharpness. Fernandez gets armside run on his change-up which has nice fade to it. Fernandez is an excellent student.

Manny Fernandez is a 5'10" 180 pound 2008 right handed pitcher from Palmer Trinity High School in Homestead, Florida who was named to the Top Prospect Team. He has a stocky body with a strong lower half. Manny throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long clean arm that is loose and a good extended finish. He also has good balance throughout his entire delivery. He pitches with a good tempo with very minimal effort. Fernandez has very good mechanics which he repeats very well. His spots his fastball very well at 78 mph with some slight sink. His curveball is at 64 mph and is very tight with 12/6 rotation. His change up has some sink and fade at 68 mph. Manny is a bulldog on the mound who competes like someone who is much older than he is.
