Kenneth Roque is a 2007 MIF with a 5'10'', 155 lb. frame from Cidra PR, who attends PR Baseball Academy HS. He has a lean athletic frame and developing strength. He has good overall body life and quickness and ran the 60 in a quick 6.78. Roque has good defensive tools for the middle infield but is still somewhat raw in his actions. His throws have good carry across the infield and he shows good quick hands. He tends to be a bit deliberate in his defensive actions and needs to develop some flow through the ball. Offensively, Roque is a left handed hitter with a line drive swing plane. He starts open and stays open, keeping his hands back and using his quickness. His best contact was to left centerfield and he was able to handle the bat head and square up consistently. Roque is a good overall athlete who should continue to develop. He's a good student who has signed with Lincoln Memorial U.
