Carlos Fermin is a 2007 3B/SS with a 6'1'', 200 lb. frame from New York, NY, who attends George Washington HS. Fermin has a nice toned frame with present strength throughout. Defensively he is light on his feet with solid 3B tools. He will make the plays and has solid arm strength across the diamond. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits with a simple approach. Fermin uses a short stride and is upright at contact showing solid bat speed through the hitting zone. He has a slight lift in his swing plane that will allow him to get some distance on his hits.
