Ryan Fleming is a 2007 OF/1B/P with a 6'2'', 200 lb. frame from Whitby ON, who attends Henry Street HS. He has a very good athletic frame that has good present strength and the potential to develop more. Fleming is a left handed hitter with a solid approach at the plate. He has good balance and load in his set up and gets himself in position to hit. Fleming has very good bat speed from a long, extended swing. He generates power and lift in his swing and the ball jumps off his bat on contact. Fleming has a tendency to throw his hips early, which causes him to pull off and hit around balls and puts him out front on off speed pitches. When he waits on the ball he drives it hard to the middle of the field. Fleming is a very good runner and agile athlete for his size and shows advanced actions in the outfield. He'll be an asset on defense at the next level. Fleming is also a good student.

Ryan Fleming is a 6-2, 185 lb left handed hitting junior outfielder from Canada. He has a solid athletic body and plenty of room to add strength in the future. He showed very good arm strength from the outfield during drills at 82 mph. Fleming has an aggressive upper cut swing with very good extension and a high extended finish with full shoulder turn. He shows good pull side power on contact. Although his swing is on the long side, Fleming has good bat speed and has strength in his swing. His overall athletic ability should enable him to shorten up his swing with some adjustments. He projects good power in the future. With some hard work and development, he profiles well in right field at the next level. Fleming is a good student off the field.
