Tom Doupe is a 6'2" 210 pound 2008 catcher, first baseman, and outfielder from Westlake Village, California who has a mature large frame and build with strong shoulders and room for added weight. Behind the plate, Tom had a 2.34 pop time to second base with a top velocity of 64 mph. He has very good agility for a big man and receives very well. Doupe ran a 7.47 60 and a 4.80 down the line showing good speed for his size. At the plate, he starts with an average base and has a compact swing. He has good bat speed with a nice weight shift for his load. He is a potential middle of th eorder type hitter who will be a big time run producer. Tom is a very good student as well with a 3.6 gpa.
