Luke Lalumia is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Eagle, MI who attends Grand Ledge HS. Long and lean build, plenty of room to get stronger. Outstanding runner, 6.49 in the 60, shows his speed and range well in the outfield, quick working through the ball, has a long and whippy arm action, crow hop is a big big and off balance but still makes on line accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a very spread stance, limited shift into contact, limited lower half use in swing, long and loose line drive swing plane, has adjustments to make at the plate for the next level. Also pitched, same long and loose arm action, works from the stretch, high 3/4's to over the top arm action,creates angle to the plate. Fastball topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight, threw almost all fastball with a few rare change ups. Good student.
