2004 Underclass National Showcase
Bret Spencer -- Spencer is a well built, strong junior outfielder from Virginia. He’s obviously worked hard on developing his body and it shows in his play. Spencer is a very strong hitter who projects extremely well to the next level. He generates very good bat speed with a full, aggressive swing that produces a lot of power and some loft. Spencer will swing through some fastballs with his aggressiveness but he had a couple of doubles during games and crushed them. Spencer runs well and has enough arm strength to play either corner outfield position. He projects to hit with excellent power.
