Lucky Martinez is a 2016 OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Barstow, CA who attends Barstow HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength with plenty of room for more. 7.23 runner, solid defensive outfielder with good fundamentals and footwork, makes on line accurate throws, good routes to balls. Right handed hitter, spread stance with a limited lower half shift into contact, gets his hands and upper half coiled well to start swing, downward swing plane, has some hand quickness, line drive contact to all fields. Good all around player who looks like he knows how to play the game and plays hard. Good student.
