Justin Snyder is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Christiansburg, VA who attends Blacksburg. Slender frame with room to fill. Solid athleticism and footspeed, ran a 7.05 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields out in front, has solid actions, long transfer and gather, developing arm strength with accurate throws to bases. Right handed hitter, slightly open stance, strides to even. Short, efficient swing path, a bit rotational upper half, shows some natural lift, leverage at contact. Also pitches, high leg raise delivery with lean and load on the backside, works to a 3/4 arm slot. Fastball up to 75 mph. Shows confidence in curveball with 12/6 shape, also works in changeup with armside run, has a good three-pitch mix to keep hitters off balance. Good student.
