Jonathon Oswald is a 2016 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from , AE who attends Ramstein. Medium, athletic, lean build with broad shoulders. Projects to add more strength at maturity. Works to a high three-quarter's arm slot, shows solid balance in delivery, can work a bit across body and throw cross fire, able to repeat it well. Showed advanced feel for fastball, really good command of the offering, pitch was up to 82 mph and showed natural cutting action to the gloveside. Also mixed in an upper-60's curveball with 11/5 shape, still developing consistent feel for offering, some flashed some late bite. Also plays infield, moved through the ball well, had solid footwork and arm strength. Right handed hitter, wider base, shows a deep hand load with aggressive, hard swing. Plane through ball is a bit uphill, has natural leverage in swing, balls show some jump off the barrel, works from gap to gap well. Outstanding Student.
