Deikoy Francis is a 2015 2B/SS with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from St. Thomas, VI who attends Charlotte Amalie HS. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulder and some present strength on frame. Primary middle infielder, takes short steps to the ball and fields out front while staying low fielding, short arm action with a quick exchange, arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow. Hits off backside with a short path to the ball and looks to lift. Uses hands well in swing with a high finish, ball carries well to centerfield. Very good student.
