Caleb Thompson is a 2017 OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Jersey Village HS. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with fast-twitch muscle, projects well with room to fill. Strong runner, posted a 6.62 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front well and works behind it nicely, big crow hop going into throws, gets out of sync at times, tight release from ear and a higher slot at release, projects for more with additional lower half. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance, short weight shift through the lower half with a still hand set at start.
