Dybran Figueroa is a 2017 2B/OF with a 5-7 158 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Coral Glades HS. Medium frame with a strong build and broad shoulders, strength proportioned throughout frame. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front nicely with a wide base, short steps moving to the ball, full arm action on accurate throws across, arm strength will continued to develop, shows a sound first step moving to the ball. Moves well coming off the bag when playing first base, gets on top of throws well an fields the ball out front, compact arm action on throws across with a longer release. Lefthanded hitter at the plate, begins with a simple shift in the box and hands pulled back. Upper body swing with a full path through the zone. Gets the barrel through the zone and repeats it, projects with continued incorporation of lower half into swing. Good student.
